Important Information
The Road Committee
Ensuring the continued successful operation of Fire Route 25 entails significant expense and potential liability for property owners on the road. Making maintenance decisions, selecting and contracting with different suppliers, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage and overseeing prudent financial management is best done by a committee, ideally made up of a broad mix of seasonal and full time residents. This is the role played by the Road Committee. Membership on the committee is open to all members of the Fire Route 25 Road Association.
Annual Contribution Fees
Annual contributions per member for the Belmont Lake Fire Route 25 Road Association are set based on the proposed annual operating budget and approved by a vote of the full Road Association at our Annual General Meeting.
The annual operating budget and contribution fees for the July 2025-June 2026 year were approved at the 2025 Belmont Lake Fire Route 25 Road Association Annual General Meeting. The contribution fee is determined by your location on the road and are:
FR # 95 - #265 = $300
FR # 306 - #432 = $450
Road Association Payments should be made by Interac Email Transfer to payments@fireroute25.ca making sure to include your Fire Route Number and Name in the comments section. If a security question is required, please make it "What lake are we on?" with the answer obviously being "Belmont".
